Sunwarrior wants you to win one of their Endurance Starter Kits! Who is Sunwarrior? I’m glad you asked!
Sunwarrior creates raw, plant-based supplements and protein powder that include essential amino acids and heart healthy foods. These products are great as a shake or smoothie but can also be used in recipes like the mug cake recipe below! Sunwarrior focuses on vegan nutrition, but makes these supplements for anyone, any diet, any meal plan, and any lifestyle.
Their mission is to “Illuminate Body, Mind, and Planet” by harnessing the power of plants – rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and phytonutrients. Sprouted brown rice, pea, cranberry and hemp proteins are utilized in their products as well as medium chain triglycerides from coconut oil, raw organic greens such as alfalfa, wheat grass and yucca, and organic minerals.
I was gifted their Starter Pack with both their Classic and Warrior Protein, Liquid Light, Barley Grass, Immune Shield, and Ormus Supergreens. The Immune Shield is especially of interest because of its unique ingredients that may support the immune system during the cold and flu season which we’re in: ionic silver, fulvic acid, and 71 trace minerals.
If you’re ready to enter the giveaway, you can scroll down to the end of this post. You’ll be entering to win Sunwarrior’s Endurance Starter Kit, which includes:
It’s a great selection of products to try especially if you’ve never used vegan protein or powdered greens before!
Not sure how to use protein powder? I highly recommend my Triple Chocolate Protein Mug Cake made with Sunwarrior’s Warrior Blend (in chocolate of course!), cocoa powder, and chocolate chips.
Makes 1 Mug Cake
Ingredients
1 packet (1/4 cup) Sunwarrior Warrior Blend Chocolate Raw Vegan Protein
1/2 cup applesauce
1 egg or 1 flax egg
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 Tbsp dark chocolate chips
1/4 tsp baking powder
pinch sea salt
Directions
Grease your favorite mug. Add all ingredients directly into the mug. Whisk well with a fork or mini whisk until all the protein powder is dissolved. Cook in the microwave on high for 1 minute. Cook for an additional 30 seconds. The cake should be set and pulling away from the sides of the mug but still moist.
Notes
To make vegan, use a flax egg: combine 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed with 3 Tbsp hot water. Let sit until thick.
Dutch process cocoa is preferred as it makes the cake a very rich chocolate color and flavor.
My microwave is 1200 watts and 1 1/2 minutes was perfect. Depending on the strength of your microwave, the time will vary. This recipe is very forgiving so just take it in 30 second intervals.
Top with coconut whipped cream!
I certainly hope you win!
